You’re so damn tired of feeling like your emotions are controlling you.
It feels like fear and anxiety have taken up permanent residence in your mind, leaving you waiting for the other shoe to drop. Even in moments that should bring you joy, the weight of unresolved trauma pulls you away, making it difficult to stay present with the people you love. You try to carry the burden alone, hoping time will heal the wounds—but instead, the pressure keeps building. You wonder if you will ever feel like yourself again.
Understanding Trauma: Why You Feel Stuck
Trauma changes the way the brain functions by activating the alarm system—keeping you in a state of hyper-vigilance as if danger is lurking around every corner. This chronic sense of fear and tension makes it difficult to relax, connect with others, or enjoy everyday life. However, PTSD treatment and trauma therapy in Katy, TX can help you regain control and rewire your brain’s response to distressing memories.

Once you choose hope, anything is possible.
OurApproach:
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
We use Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a cutting-edge trauma treatment designed to calm the nervous system and reprogram the way distressing memories are stored in the brain. ART works by helping you access traumatic memories without reliving the intense emotions tied to them. Through guided eye movements, the therapy helps your brain process and integrate those experiences, allowing you to store them in a way that no longer triggers overwhelming physical or emotional reactions.
With ART, the goal isn’t to erase your memories—it’s to reduce the power they hold over you so that you can move forward with more peace and clarity.
"To heal is to touch with love that which we previously touched with fear."

How PTSD Treatment and Trauma Therapy in Katy, TX Works
Free 15-Minute Consultation
We start with a complimentary 15-minute consultation to see if ART is a good fit for your needs. This conversation gives you the chance to ask questions and get a feel for your therapist before scheduling a full session. During this call, your therapist will also gather some information about your trauma history and discuss your goals for treatment.
Initial Trauma Assessment Session
In your first session, we will hold space for you to share the significant events that have shaped your current struggles. Your therapist will guide you in identifying the specific memories that continue to impact you the most today. This session will also be an opportunity to discuss expectations, ask questions about the ART process, and ensure you feel comfortable moving forward.
ART Session for Trauma Processing
Each traumatic memory will be addressed in a 90-minute ART session. Your therapist will gently guide you through accessing these memories and the emotions tied to them. As distressing feelings arise, your therapist will support you in processing them. Using guided eye movements, ART helps soothe your nervous system and allows your brain to reframe the memory in a way that promotes healing. You’ll leave each session with a sense of closure, feeling lighter and more at ease.
