MEET YOUR SPRING THERAPIST

About
Betsy

Hello!

My name is Betsy and my passion is really two fold, working with couples and working with individuals struggling in their relationship (especially men). If you are feeling hopeless, exhausted, frustrated, resentful, or even angry, you have come to the right place. I’ve been there myself, searching through therapist profiles looking for that ray of hope. I would love the opportunity to be that ray of hope for you. Together we can work towards a relationship where you feel heard, appreciated, and connected both emotionally and physically.

My Approach

In session, I will work to create a safe space for each person to share their unique experiences and feelings around their relationship, stressors, past, and emotions. I strive to be compassionate and work to build your trust every session. I believe that small changes allow for opportunities to see great success in breaking maladaptive patterns, cycles, and behaviors, and of course, we sometimes need to laugh a little. For my couples’ work, I frequently refer to the work of the Gottmans’ and Esther Perel.

More about me

  • I have been married for 11 years to my husband, and my marriage, when it was crumbling, was the catalyst for my passion around helping others save their marriages.

  • I am a mom to three amazing young kiddos. Motherhood has been such an incredible, yet trying, journey for me so far!

  • I am an animal lover! I have two crazy dogs, Murphy and Millie, both Bernese Mountain Dog mixes. They have come with many trials and tribulations, but we love them so much!

  • I also have a paint horse named Joker. I have owned him since April of 2022. Horses are my self-care and how I quiet my own mind from life’s stressors. We are beginning to learn the world of Western Dressage!

  • I recently moved from Pewaukee, WI (home of JJ Watt!!) due to a job opportunity for my husband. I am looking forward to this adventure for my family!

  • For many years, I worked in corporate America supporting various types of sales staff. I worked for Frito Lay for almost 9 years before transitioning into my role as a therapist.
