Individual Therapy

What can individual therapy help with?

Individual therapy can help with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship stress, life transitions, self-doubt, shame, people-pleasing, emotional overwhelm, and feeling stuck.

No. Many people begin therapy with only a general sense that something feels off, overwhelming, or hard to keep carrying alone. We can help you slow down, understand what is happening, and decide what support may help.
The first session is a chance to get to know each other, talk about what brings you to therapy, and begin understanding your goals. We will also talk about what has helped before, what has not helped, and what you are hoping will feel different.
That is okay to bring into the conversation. Sometimes therapy has not helped because the fit, pace, approach, or focus was not right. We can talk about what felt missing and what you need now.

Couples Therapy

What can couples therapy help with?

Couples therapy can help with communication problems, emotional disconnection, conflict, intimacy concerns, parenting stress, resentment, trust issues, infidelity, and uncertainty about the future of the relationship.

Couples therapy works best when both partners are willing to participate. If one partner is unsure, we can talk about whether couples therapy, discernment counseling, or individual therapy is the best starting point.

Yes. Infidelity counseling can help couples talk about what happened, understand the impact, create boundaries, rebuild transparency, and decide whether repair is possible.

Yes. Therapy can help couples who are unsure whether to stay together, separate, or commit to a focused period of repair work.

Ketamine-Assisted Therapy

What is Ketamine-assisted therapy?

Ketamine-assisted therapy combines prescribed ketamine with psychotherapy. The medication is one part of the process. Preparation, therapeutic support, and integration help you understand what comes up during the experience.

No. Ketamine-assisted therapy sessions are provided in person at our Katy, TX office and are not offered virtually.
Ketamine-assisted therapy may be considered for depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD symptoms, emotional numbness, self-criticism, shame, or long-standing patterns that have not shifted enough through talk therapy alone.
No. Ketamine-assisted therapy is not right for everyone. Medical eligibility is determined by Journey Clinical, and we will also talk together about emotional readiness, support, and fit.
